- Summary
- Documentary about the yearly pilgrimage of the Runa, a highland people of Peru, to the sanctuary of Qoyllur Rit'i in the Andes. The pilgrimage combines elements of Christianity and the worship of the indigenous god Taytacha, and includes dancing and role-playing, often in masks. Upon their return from the pilgrimage, the pilgrims are seen dancing in celebration with their fellow villagers.
