- SUMMARY: Videotaped in the studio on April 10, 1981 by Hilary Harris. Class in Denishawn technique taught by Barton Mumaw, who teaches warm-ups from the early and late Denishawn periods, an exercise devised by Ruth St. Denis to help dancers perform arm ripples, and exercises developed by Ted Shawn. Much of the class is devoted to his discussion of Delsarte's theories and their bearing upon dance and drama.
