Summary
Drama set in Wyoming in the 1890s, during the range wars between ranchers and East European immigrants. The action centers around a lawman (Kristofferson) and a hitman (Walken), who both love the same woman (Huppert). Cassette 1 (120 min.) includes the Blue Danube waltz danced by the ensemble in an outdoor setting representing Harvard University in 1870, and a roller skating/dancing scene (much of it filmed in sepia tones) by immigrants in Wyoming. No dance scenes in cassette 2 (101 min.).
