Guests are Leopold Allen, a wig stylist and makeup artist for American Ballet Theatre, and Brian Dube, a manufacturer of juggling equipment. Each talks about his respective field and its relevance to performers. Dube demonstrates some of the items he manufactures. Raymond Serrano, a character dancer with American Ballet Theatre, models the makeup created by Allen for the role of Madge in La sylphide. In Esoterica balletica, Christine Spizzo demonstrates how pointe shoes are prepared and broken in by the dancer.
