Martine Van Hamel is seen in an excerpt from the Dance of the hours, choreographed by Sappington and recorded at the San Francisco Opera. In Esoterica balletica, Hope Clarke reminisces about performing with Alvin Ailey in his Blues suite in the 1950s.
