Summary
Guests are producer/director Martin Kahan and stylist-choreographer Rodney Nugent, who have collaborated on music videos, and dancer/choreographer Louis Falco. Following an excerpt of a Kahan-Nugent work, Ian Hunter's music video "All of the good ones are taken," Nugent explains what the role of stylist-choreographer entails. Falco discusses choreographing the motion picture Fame and videodances for the Italian television station RAI, an example of which is shown. Kahan talks about the business aspects of making music videos (budgets, rights, outlets), and he and Nugent comment on some points of interest to dancers, such as employment opportunities, casting, and working conditions. An excerpt from the music video "Tonight" closes the program.
