- Broadway dancers Hinton Battle and Gwen Verdon talk about their performing experiences. Verdon reminisces about choreographer Jack Cole and the eclectic training he gave his dancers. Both guests tell anecdotes about working together in the national road company of Bob Fosse's musical Dancin'. Other topics are their feelings about performing, tap dancing, and their past and current shows, including The tap dance kid (Battle) and Sweet Charity (Verdon). In Esoterica balletica, Mama Lu Parks discusses rock 'n' roll dancing and demonstrates the twist, jerk, monkey, pony, hully-gully, and other dances.
