Dancers Risa Steinberg, Jim May, and Toby Armour discuss the strengths that have come to them with maturity, notably in terms of psychological strength, understanding, and expressiveness. They reminisce about some of the choreographers they have worked with, among them Anna Sokolow, James Waring, José Limón, and Annabelle Gamson. They also discuss the use of hand gestures in Limón's choreography, and how to retain freshness in reconstructing works of the past.
