- Guests are Carlota Santana, co-founder and director of the Spanish Dance Arts Company, balletmaster/choreographer Hector Zaraspe, and dancer/choreographer Luis Montero. They talk about the regional variety and pervasiveness of dance in Spain, singling out for mention classical Spanish dancing (escuela bolera), flamenco, the jota, and the tango. They also demonstrate the playing of castanets. They pay tribute to the great Spanish dancer La Argentina, and note some of the benefits of studying Spanish dance. Performance excerpts depict Santana in a tango; España, choreographed by Montero for Ballet Hispanico; and Ensueño, performed by Santana, Roberto Lorca, and Melinda Márquez.
