Summary
Judith Fugate, a dancer with the New York City Ballet, and her husband Mehdi Bahiri, a freelance dancer, discusses how their shared career interests affect their professional and personal lives. They also contrast working in a ballet company with working as a freelancer. They are seen in four excerpts from Francis Patrelle's Come rain--come shine, danced to a song medley by Judy Garland. In Esoterica balletica, Frances Becker performs a spoof inspired by the consumption of Marie Taglioni's ballet shoes by the Czar and fellow balletomanes.
