- Summary
- Clark Tippet and Kevin McKenzie, two dancers with American Ballet Theatre who have begun to choreograph, discuss both aspects of their careers. They describe how they balance their performing and creative work, their working methods (including the use of video as a "notebook"), and the different viewpoints of dancer and choreographer. Both reminisce about working with Antony Tudor; Tippet particularly recalls creating a role in Tudor's The leaves are fading. Both guests are seen in a studio rehearsal of Tippet's S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.
