- Summary
- Unedited footage, recorded for the documentary Ruth Page: Once upon a dancer (1988). For the completed documentary, see: *MGZIA 4-1249 cassette 129. Larry Long looks back over his career as a dancer in Ruth Page's companies, describing his interactions with her as choreographer and director. He also discusses his present activities as director of the Ruth Page Foundation School of Dance.

- CONTENTS: Cassette 69 (approx. 18 min.): Long reminisces about auditioning for Page, and about life as a dancer in her company. -- Cassette 70 (approx. 17 min.): He recalls the company's tours, the process of mounting new productions such as Camille, and Page's relationship with her company members. -- Cassette 71 (approx. 17 min.): He comments upon the special qualities of Page's choreography, and the lack of appreciation it has suffered in the past. He recalls the disbanding of Page's company and the establishment of the Ruth Page Foundation School of Dance. -- Cassette 72 (approx. 19 min.): He discusses the growth, development, and current activities of the school. -- Cassette 73 (approx. 18 min.): Continuing his discussion of the school, he talks about his second career as a teacher. He speaks of his sense of kinship for and gratitude to her.
