- Summary
- Television program focusing on the achievements of deaf people. Of special interest to dancers is the first interview, Steps first (approx. 9 min.), produced by David Hall, which highlights the work of deaf dancer Amnon Damti as artist-in-residence at Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington, D. C. Damti, his colleagues Yola Rozynek and Marcia Freeman (chairman of the School's Department of Performing Arts, and his students are seen in interviews, performances, and the studio. Other segments of the program depict a travel agent, a shoe repairman, and the animator Mark Fisher.
