- Summary
- Documentary on rituals of the Nambicuara and their sub-group, the Mamaindê Indians, who live in the Brazilian states of Mato Grosso and Rondonia. Of special interest to dancers are the dances associated with girls' puberty rites, and the men's weapon dances. The Indians are also seen watching videotapes of their own and other tribes' dances, and performing parody versions of the latter.
