- Summary
- Documentary about the Blood Indians, members of the Blackfoot confederacy, of southwestern Alberta, Canada. Most of the documentary is narrated by Pete Standing Alone, a young Blood Indian, who contrasts the tribe's vanishing traditions with their new way of life. Of special interest to dancers is the footage of traditional dances, including the sun, hoop, and grass dances, religious ceremonies, drumming, singing, and regalia.
