Photographers represented are Fred Fehl, Martha Swope, Bert Stern, Gordon Parks, and Radford Bascome. -- Conversation between Kent and Aloff. Kent looks back at her training at the School of American Ballet and her early years in the New York City Ballet, in the 1950s. She recalls the composition of the company, prevailing technical standards, and some memorable dancers, among them Maria Tallchief and Tanaquil Le Clercq.
