Summary
Part of an irregular series of presentations sponsored by the Noverre Gesellschaft, and recorded before a live audience in the Kleines Haus of the Staatstheater, Stuttgart. Marcia Haydée and Richard Cragun coach two young dancers, Marion Jäger and Tamas Detrich, in the Act I pas de deux of Katharina and Petruchio from John Cranko's The taming of the shrew. Working in practice clothes, to piano accompaniment, Haydée and Cragun analyze the fine points of the duet's choreography and characterization.
