CONTENTS: Documentary on the creation of Four elements (approx. 16 min.), including interviews with Richard Alston, artistic director of Rambert Dance Company; Lucinda Childs; and Gavin Bryars. Childs recalls her association with the experimental Judson Dance Theatre in the 1960s, and performs an excerpt from Carnation, recreated for television. She discusses her collaboration with Robert Wilson, and dances her solo in a b&w excerpt from Einstein on the beach, to music by Philip Glass. Members of her dance company perform an excerpt from Mayday, a recent work to music by Christian Wolff.
