Summary
Preceded by an introduction recorded in 1992, upon the death of John Cage. Documentary on the making of Points in space, a dance work especially conceived for television and later transferred to the stage. Interviews with the artists who collaborated on this work (Cunningham, Cage, Anastasi, Bradshaw, and dancer Catherine Kerr) are interspersed with scenes of rehearsals in New York and recording in London. Cage is seen conferring with the computer experts who helped synthesize the score. Points in space is shown in its entirety at the end of the program.
