- Flowers from the Caribbean is a Welcome dance. Jole is a celebration dance illustrating a variety of dances from Guinea, West Africa. Shango is inspired by the thunder deity. The Adjoss dance is inspired by a celebration dance of the Baoulé ethnic group of central Ivory Coast. The Zaouli dance is inspired by a rejoicing and mourning dance of the Gouro ethnic group from west-central Ivory Coast, and features a mask representing the creator of the dance. The Medy dance, inspired by the Wê ethnic group, illustrates friendships and alliances between human beings.
