- Included are letters regarding the first performances of the American Dance Theatre and proposals for the establishment of a permanent home for the modern dance in New York City. In letters from John B. Hightower, Miss Tamiris is invited to join an advisory committee to assist Hugh Hardy in a study of the requirements for such a project. Other members of the committee were Isadora Bennett, Agnes de Mille, and William Bales.
