- The libretto of the ballet-cantata The triumph of Bacchus and Ariadne, produced by Ballet Society, February 9, 1948, with choreography by George Balanchine, was based on Lorenzo de' Medici's poem. Scenery and costumes for the ballet were designed by Corrado Cagli.
