- Summary
- Images of a flood in San Antonio, October, 1913, including steets, water lapping the edges of bridges, flooded barns and other buildings; soldiers training; man outside of his dugout home, and interior views; street scenes, some in San Antonio, others in unidentified location, though probably also San Antonia, including views of railroad station, bridges, streets, homes, including view of porch with hammock, churches and rural views. There are also two images of an automobile, a deer and swans on a pond, and snapshots of a man and a woman each pictured with a baby. The man is probably Beauvais Fox and the woman Caroline Fox. - Album is black kraft paper, with label for a San Antonio store on first leaf, and 12 silver gelatin prints, approx. 9 x 14 cm. mounted within. Negatives were received in negative pockets from a San Antonio photography shop and are numbered on the negative sleeves 85-122, 124-133, 209. Prints were received in an envelope from a Port Jervais photography store. All but two of the prints are represented in the negatives. The other two prints, 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 in. snapshots, are similar to photographs in another album received as part of the same accession (see MFY 95-24).
