Holograph sketches (Bibliothèque nationale, Paris. Ms. Nr. R. 20. 341).
Part of a collection belonging to Charles Malherbe and donated to the Paris Conservatory in 1911. Malherbe's stamp appears on pp. [2] and [3].
Letter "M" in upper right-hand margin of p. [1] refers to "Notirungbuch M" in the first classification of Artaria sketchbooks (probably Artaria 183) and is most likely in Anton Gräffer's hand.
At head of p. [1]: 3ten März 1813; on p. [2]: "Minuet".
Sketchbook includes: "Meeresstille und glückliche Fahrt," Cantata op. 112, text by Goethe; revision of Fidelio (1814) (unidentified sketches); Cello sonata in D major, op. 102, no. 2, first movement (?); fragmentary autograph score of a piano trio in C major; remarks on instrumentation; comments relating to the correcting and copying of the 7th and 8th symphonies.
