- The Harvard Summer Dance Center was held in Cambridge, Massachusetts, 1973-1995, at Harvard University under the auspices of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences as part of its Summer School of Arts and Sciences and of Education. Its closure was announced in September, 1995 upon the retirement of Iris M. Fanger, director of the Dance Center, 1977-1995.
- The files contain programs, season announcements, press clippings and reviews, newsletters, class schedules, faculty lists, budgets, and issues of the publication Writing for dance. Also included are letters of agreement and xeroxes of letters from faculty members to Iris M. Fanger, director.
