Includes a series of views of ruined abbeys, including Bolton Abbey, Byland Abbey, Fountains Abbey, Jervaulx Abbey, Kirkstall Abbey, Rievaulx Abbey and Whitby Abbey. There is one view of Pompeii after a drawing by W.E. Lockhart. Other subjects include castles, cathedrals, steamboats, tugboats and water mills.
