Summary

Suite of prints, including etched blue wrappers, portraying the etcher haunted and tormented by a series of figures, including a skeleton, representing Death, various demons, and a nude woman, a prefiguration of the fin-de-siècle femme fatale. In two of the prints, the etcher is shown dreaming or awaking from a nightmare.
