Summary
Excerpts from a class in lakhon khol, an all-male masked dance-drama traditionally performed in certain villages on ritual occasions. The male students and their teachers work on various scenes, some of which may be seen in performance on *MGZIA 4-2336 Cambodian dance. Evening performance at the School of Dance. Dancing without the masks worn in performance, they portray battling monkeys and giants armed with sticks and daggers. An off-camera pin peat orchestra, playing for other classes, may be heard intermittently in the background.
