Ms. Driver discusses her first exposure to dance; attending Ohio State; seeing the premier of Paul Taylor's Aureole; meeting Mr. Taylor; her interest in production and lighting design; the influence of lighting designer Thomas Skelton on her choreography; lighting designer Jennifer Tipton; choreographer William Forsythe; current trends in choreography; leaving Taylor's company to do her own choreography; Taylor's work American genesis; and Taylor's behavior and personality.

Ms. Driver discusses her solo work; the early group work with Andrea Stark and composer Tom Johnson; her choreographies Melodrama and Sudden death; dancers Susan Hadley and Larry Hahn; her choreographies Resettings and Second generation; her work on partnering; and her emotional states.
