- Reprint of v. 1-2 of the first collective edition (published 1763) with the addition from the 3d volume of that edition of (1) an issue dated April 7, 1763, with title: A North Briton extraordinary, which was printed, but never published; (2) two issues called no. 46, dated April 30, 1763, and Nov. 12, 1763, respectively.
- No. 45, April, 1763 (4 p.), printed in smaller type and unpaged, fills the gap in paging between p. 316 and 321.
- It is conjectured that this volume, which appears to have become the standard edition, was edited and issued by John Almon with the sanction of John Wilkes.--cf. Notes and queries, ser. 7, v. 9, p. 105.
