Holograph in ink; contains corrections and printer's markings in blue pencil.
Twenty-minute solos for 1-7 amplified harpsichords and tapes for 1-51 amplified monaural machines to be used in whole or in part in any combination with or without interruptions, etc. to make an indeterminate concert of any agreed-upon length having 2-58 separate channels with loudspeakers spaced around the audience.
Transcription by J[ohn] C[age] of computer printout for scale with 12 tones per octave. Durations are represnted by staff-length...and also given in milliseconds at beginnings and ends of notes and ornaments. Changes of amplitude facilitated by pressure-sensitive control means designed at the suggestion of David Tudor by Hugh Le Caine.
