- Rehearsal for the first half of Agnes de Mille's lecture-demonstration Conversations about the dance, an overview of dance in the United States. De Mille's voice can be heard from off-camera, speaking the narration and directing the dancers, but her words are not always intelligible. Some of the dances include repetitions and false starts.
