- German verse translations, with their French models, of the 18 "per annum" weekday hymns for Matins, Lauds, and Vespers of the Tridentine liturgical office.
- Known as Racine's Hymnes du Bréviaire romain, the translations appeared originally in Le Bréviaire romain en latin et en françois, prepared by N. Le Tourneux and published in Paris in 1688.
- The French version of the last hymn is by Le Maistre de Sacy.
