- Summary
- Educational program on Polish folk dances, as performed by three Polish dance companies. Representatives of each group discuss aspects of the dances, costumes, dance companies, and Polish culture. Performance excerpts include the mazurka, dances from the Lublin district, and a wedding party medley, danced by Promni ; a shepherds' dance and a victory dance performed by the Bartusza Obrochty Regional Group ; dances from the Cracow, Mazowsze, and Lublin districts, and Napoleonic-era ballroom versions of the polonaise and mazurka, danced by Gaik.
