Summary
Educational program on the folk dances of northern Spain, as performed by three Spanish dance groups. Performance footage is interspersed with interviews with company members, and background information on the dances, costumes, and companies. Among the dances performed are the handkerchief dance, Zuberoa's glass dance, the hoop dance, and Goyerri courtship dances, danced by Goizaldi ; the jota de San Lorenzo, danced by Raíces de Aragon ; and the corri-corri, el salton, and la muñega, danced by Coros y Danzas de Oviedo.
