Summary

Mr. Benoize, director of advertising for Celanese Fibers Marketing discusses commissioning the ballet Design for dreaming from the Robert Joffrey Ballet to introduce a new nylon fiber; business support for the arts; using ballet in the fashion industry; filming the ballet for promotional purposes; and the legal rights to the ballet and advertising. [7 min.]
Mr. Shawn discusses a recently discovered film made of the Denishawn School in 1916 which shows Ruth St. Denis giving a yoga-style class and himself teaching a point class; and a 1912 film made in pre-Denishawn days for Thomas Edison. [4 min.]
