- Summary
- Mr. Ehrmann-Ewart discusses the origin of the Chilean National Ballet [Ballet Nacional Chileno]; the establishment of the dance department at the University of Chile by Ernst Uthoff and former members of the Kurt Jooss dance company; Jooss' dance aesthetic; and the Chilean company's repertory for its November season at the New York State Theater. Mr. Ehrmann-Ewart concludes with a description of the Kurt Jooss dance, The green table.
