  • The title pages and dedication are engraved. Contains 144 illustrations of classical artworks. A list at the end of each volume gives the location of the print in the volume, a description of the image, and the museum collection in Italy that held the art.
  • "Dedication leaf and divisional titlepages included in the plates. - The placement of engraved matter, and even the imposition of the letterpress, varies from copy to copy.
