- Cassette 1. Recorded March 3, 1997. Ms. De Angelo describes her first dance classes and teachers; her affinity for performing; studying at San Francisco Ballet; being told in auditions that she was too short and the impact that had on her technique and state of mind; joining Joffrey II Company and later the City Center Joffrey Ballet; her virtuosity; being cast in a male role in Viva Vivaldi; Gerald Arpino's creative process; the creation process in general and the logistical constraints in dance companies; the Joffrey's historical role in terms of the creation of new choreography; and the creative participation of its dancers and how that has changed.
- Cassette 2. Recorded December 2, 1996. Ms. DeAngelo discusses her role in Relativity of Icarus; Taming of the shrew; attending the Varna ballet competition; body type in ballet; her development and growth as an artist; developing an interest in choreography; the formation of Ballet D'Angelo; and her interest in street dancing.

Ms. De Angelo continues her discussion of Ballet D'Angelo; her choreographic experimentation and the varied responses to it; work in Mexico with Ballet de Monterrey; composing music; returning to the Joffrey company; designers with whom she has worked; choreographing for the Joffrey. De Angelo and Anawalt play a question and answer game, soliciting brief responses to some key questions.
