Arents copy bound in dark red morocco, gilt, by Riviere & Son. Original gilt-stamped dark red cloth from publisher's binding preserved, mounted on 3 inserted blank leaves at end.
Arents copy: Four original pencil drawings by Phiz mounted and bound in opposite the relevant ill. (frontispiece, added t.p., "A legend of Knockmany" and "Barney Brady's goose"); author's A.L.S. to "My dear Wilde, February 2nd 1862" (1 folded sheet ([2] p.)), mounted on binder's blank at front.
Arents copy lacks one print ("The senachie," facing p. 177).
