Summary
Miscellaneous etchings, including illustrations for Les chats by Champfleury and Sonnets et eaux-fortes. Subjects include portraits of Théodore de Banville; Charles Baudelaire; Mariano Camprubi, a dancer with the Ballet espagnol; Eva Gonzales and her sister Jeanne; Berthe Morisot; Edgar Allan Poe and the actor Philibert Rouvière in the role of Hamlet; cats; a boy blowing bubbles; a monk; a nude; a sick woman; a man smoking a pipe and people with umbrellas waiting outside a butcher shop during the siege of Paris in 1870-1871. Some prints are present in more than one state.
