Summary

Etched illustrations with etched text by Martial & title page, supposedly an account of the experiences of a Japanese visitor to Paris during the Universal Exposition of 1878. Included are depictions of the house of Adolphe Thiers, the Café de la Paix, the Tuileries Palace, the Opéra, the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle, the aquarium in the Trocadéro, a camera, a hotel, restaurants and the skeleton of a whale.
