Smith had rendered in a somewhat free style, was revised with reference to the English authorized version, by A. Stewart, who supervised the printing of the whole book. Translated from the Hebrew by John Stuart and John Smith. Printed in two volumes, in double columns, with footnotes. Unpaged. Preliminary matter contains a preface, a glossary and General rules for reading the Gaelic language. Last signature of v. 1, Yy6; last signature of v. 2, Zz4. Followed by New Testament, of 1813.
