Pforzheimer copy 1: Formerly owned by George Tighe, with his ownership signature on the inside front cover; Cini family shelf label on the half title verso. (Cini addendum, 8/67). -- With four-pages of Galignani's "New Publications" sewn in at the front. -- "French Shell" marbled wrappers, vertical paper label on spine, uncut. Foxed throughout.
Pforzheimer copy 2: Lacking the half title. -- Bound after a copy Galignani's 1822 ed. of Sardanapalus, the two books together making up "volume VIII" of a set of Byron's works, vols. 1-6 being the 1819 Galignani edition of the works. -- Green morocco, gilt spine titling and cover decorations.
