From an early age Brimm appeared with the American Place Theatre, the Manhattan Theatre Club, the Negro Ensemble Company, the New Federal Theatre, the New York Shakespeare Festival, and the San Francisco Actor's Workshop; he also appeared in commercials (once nominated for a "Cleo" award), and in various TV programs. Thomas Martell Brimm wrote, directed and performed in "Like it is" for Gil Noble on ABC TV.
