Summary

Part of a series collecting full length films representative of the British documentary film movement. The documentaries in this volume were produced during the Second World War. Listen to Britain celebrates the perseverance of everyday behavior in the face of total war. Target for tonight details the various steps in the planning and execution of a bombing raid on a German depot by a Royal Air Force squadron. A diary for Timothy covers the first three months in the life of a baby born on the fifth anniversary of the beginning of the war, and wonders what kind of world will emerge at war's end.
