Summary

Listen to Britain celebrates the perseverance of everyday behavior in the face of total war. Target for tonight details the various steps in the planning and execution of a bombing raid on a German depot by a Royal Air Force squadron. A diary for Timothy covers the first three months in the life of a baby born on the fifth anniversary of the beginning of the war, and wonders what kind of world will emerge at war's end.
