Summary
Rehearsal of the choreography for the six women in the Thursday section of the ballet, supervised by Michael Somes of the Royal Ballet, assisted by Robert Joffrey, artistic director of the Joffrey Ballet. Working for the most part without music, Somes refines choreographic details. The male soloist in this section does not appear, and alternate cast members are sometimes seen in the background. The tape ends before the conclusion of the rehearsal.
