Excerpts of choreographic material used or created by Twyla Tharp in making her work Deuce coupe II, including her earlier work Deuce coupe (1973), which had been danced by members of her own company as well as City Center Joffrey Ballet. On this tape, performance footage of Deuce coupe is interspersed with footage of Tharp and Rose Marie Wright, her choreographic assistant, demonstrating movement phrases in the studio, and rehearsals of Deuce coupe II, danced by members of City Center Joffrey Ballet.
