- The American Dance Festival, one of a kind (ca. 15 min., col. and b&w, sd.) / film sequences provided by UNC Center for Public Broadcasting, South Carolina ETV Network, and Steeg Productions ; script, Mike McClister ; editing, Jere Snyder ; interviewees, Marcia Esposito, Paul Taylor, Charles Weidman, Walter Terry (pre-recorded footage), Charles Reinhart, Martha Myers ; promotional videotape containing a brief history of the festival, followed by a summary of its activities (school, professional and community services, media projects, and performances), and testimonials from writers and choreographers. Illustrated by b&w archival footage and still photographs, and contemporary footage of performances, classes, and rehearsals.

José Limón, Betty Jones, and Ruth Currier appear in a brief excerpt from Doris Humphrey's Invention at the end of the tape.
