- Evening-length dance set in 12th-century Guinea and based on the legend of Bala Fassake Kouyate, ambassador of the Mandingo Empire, and his opponent, Soumaoro Kante, warrior leader of the Sosso Kingdom. Choreographed by Mohamed Kemoko Sano, directed by Italo Zambo, with traditional music of Guinea. Performed by Les Ballets africains/National Dance Company of Guinea.
